Where is ZEITRAUM located and how to get there?

Our address is U Průhonu 1099/56, 170 00 Praha 7 - Holešovice - goo.gl/GjFI5Q. The closest tram stop is Maniny, which is just a 3-minute walk from ZEITRAUM. Is ZEITRAUM far from the city center?

Not at all! Our residence has a very convenient connection to the city center. Just hop on a tram and you’ll be in there in just 15 minutes. To find a connection to your destination, visit http://www.dpp.cz/en/.


Is wi-fi available in the rooms?

Yes, the high speed wi-fi connection is available throughout the whole building. You’ll get the password at your arrival.

Are the prices on your website final? Do I have to pay for anything else?

Our prices include all the utility bills as well as the wi-fi. There are no additional fees apart from using the washing machine or the dryer (special tokens for these are sold at our reception, each costs 50 CZK).

How do I make a reservation?

You can check the availability and make a reservation via the following link: https://www.zeitraum.re/bookings/. The reservation process is very simple; just choose your check-in and check-out dates and your favorite room category. To complete the reservation, fill in the questionnaire and pay a refundable security deposit.

What is the “refundable security deposit”?

The refundable security deposit is a one-time fee you need to pay to complete the process of the online reservation. It is in the same amount as one month’s rent and you will get the money back if you don‘t cause any damage to the room or don’t leave without paying the rent.

When can I move in?

You can move in after 3 in the afternoon on the first day of your contract. It doesn’t matter if that day falls on a public holiday or on the weekend – we are ready to accommodate you anytime! If you know you’re going to arrive at night, just drop us an e-mail and we will prepare an envelope with the keys and instructions, which will be handed over to you by the night security.

When do I sign the contract?

The contract is signed upon your arrival at our reception.

How and when do I pay the first rent?

You can pay in advance or upon your arrival. There are 3 ways to pay the first rent:
  1. Online payment
  2. Bank transfer
  3. Upon arrival by cash (+ fee of 200 CZK) or card (+fee of 2.25%)

How and when do I pay the following rents?

Every following rent should always be paid before the 25th of the previous month for which the rent is due. The payment schedule will be included in your reservation confirmation.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

If you need to cancel your reservation, we accept free of charge cancellations until one month before the arrival date. If the reservation is canceled less than one month before the arrival date, the security deposit will not be refunded.

Early terminations are possible after the arrival and hand-over of the keys as well, but we will keep your deposit as a penalty. The termination notice must be in a written form and you have to pay the remaining rental balance for the month in which you’re terminating the contract.

What if I need to prolong my reservation?

Prolongations are possible but we can’t guarantee we’ll have any free rooms left. Therefore a request for an extension of your stay has to be submitted in advance.

Can I choose with whom will I share the bathroom?
(Applies to Private Single Room – Large & Standard, Shared Room)

No, it is not possible. We also can’t guarantee we’ll be able to place you next to your friend etc.

Can I request a specific roommate to be in a shared room with me?

If a shared room with both beds is available, then of course, you can book the room together with a friend. However if we have rooms with one available bed only or you don’t have a friend to book the room with, then your roommate will be assigned by us.

Do I need to clean my own room and bathroom?

Yes, you are responsible for keeping your room and the bathroom clean. Don’t forget to clean up after yourself when you finish using the kitchen in the common area too. If you don’t have time to clean your room, our housekeeping will be happy to clean it for you. A cleaning costs 300 CZK, or 400 CZK with the change of bedsheets.

Can I borrow a vacuum cleaner or an iron from you?

Yes, the vacuum cleaners, the iron and the ironing board can be borrowed at our reception.

Where can I do laundry? How do I pay for laundry?

We have three washing machines and a dryer in the -2 floor. Special coins for these are sold at our reception, each cost 50 CZK.

Are pets allowed?

No, keeping pets is not allowed.

Is smoking allowed in the building?

Smoking is strongly prohibited inside the whole building including smoking out of the window. You can only smoke outside the building.

Where do I pick up my mail? How do I get packages?

All the mail and packages are delivered at our reception. If you receive any of these, we will notify you and you can pick them up when it’s convenient for you.

When am I supposed to check out of my room?

You have to check out of your room before 11 in the morning on the last day of your contract. In case you need to store some luggage, we have a storage room for this purpose.
